Hosting for writers was founded in 2004 under it’s first business name, Kaiberworks – at the time Kai, the owner, was looking for a flexible, affordable solution to hosting a handful of sites and discovered the only options open to her were massively oversubscribed ‘unlimited’ servers that were limited at every turn, or reseller accounts.  She founded her own hosting company and now has 2 servers, 45 clients and a strong experience set in WAHM and writer hosting needs.

Hosting For Writers split from Kaiberworks in 2007, when Kai decided to deliniate her hosting concerns and focus on the niches needs specifically, instead of tailoring at the end point, she made the whole experience personalised and suitable for the niches in question.

We design, maintain and support writers, from the casual hobbist, short story or article writer, right up to the NYT best seller potentials, like Kai.  She’s learned the ins and outs of how to keep a website running under incredible demand with a tiny amount of resources, and at the smae time, support the best elements of the person that owns the site, without fuss.

Hosting for writers is a small team of three techies and Kai – we believe in giving writers the platform to do the thing they do best – write, so whether you’re advanced technically minded, or can’t find your way round facebook, and don’t know what the point of twitter is, we’re on hand to answer everything you need to know.
